Gerald Gaigher was born in Zeerust and qualified in 1969 as a vet. He is married to Cecile and has three daughters. His main interest lies with cattle work and -breeding. He is the proud owner of a Bonsmara stud.

Kobus Grobler hails originally from Pretoria and obtained his degree in 1987. He is married to Magda and has two daughters and a son. He enjoys small animal surgery most of all his work.

Newton Sparks is from Middelburg and qualified in 1993. He and Karlien have a boy and a girl. Newton loves working with birds of all shapes and sizes and also enjoys small animal surgery.

Tine van Egdom née du Plessis is from Rustenburg and completed her degree in 2002.  She gained a lot of experience in one of the top avian practices in Johannesburg from 2003 to March 2005 and enjoys working with birds.  She started to work as assistant at Protea Animal Clinic in April 2005 and was married to Gerhard in September 2007.
